Instacart recruits the new president of the company | 2021-08-06


SAN FRANCISCO – Carolyn Everson was appointed President of Instacart effective September 7th. Ms Everson will succeed current President Nilam Ganenthiran, who has been promoted to Strategic Advisor to Managing Director, Fiji Simo.

In her new role, Ms. Everson will oversee Instacart’s retail, business development and advertising activities, as well as the People, Policy and Government Affairs, Legal, Partnerships, Instacart Pickup and Care teams. She will report directly to Ms. Simo.

Ms. Everson joins Instacart from Facebook, where she has spent the past decade. Most recently, she was vice president of global marketing solutions for Facebook. Previously, Ms. Everson was vice president of Microsoft’s global advertising sales and commercial marketing teams, where she led the company’s advertising activities on Bing, MSN, Windows Live, mobile, games, Atlas and Microsoft Media Network. Earlier in her career, Ms. Everson served as COO of Viacom, VP of Primedia, VP of Business Development for Zagat Survey, Head of Business Development for Walt Disney Imagineering and Analyst for Accenture.
