A local roofing company, Webb Roofing & Construction, is in legal trouble after its president and a contractor were arrested on multiple counts of insurance fraud.

Brian Webb, of Naples, was arrested March 15 after failing to turn himself in on March 14, records show. Brandon Jourdan of Cape Coral, a Webb Company contractor, was arrested on March 13. Both face nine counts for filing a false or fraudulent insurance claim.

Webb had nine active Lee County arrest warrants related to insurance claims fraud, according to his arrest report.

His contractor, Brandon Jourdan, is accused of having paid, waived or reimbursed all or part of an insurance deductible with the intent to injure, defraud or deceive, according to his arrest report.

The rebates were used to cover the homeowners’ insurance deductible if they submitted a claim for a complete roof replacement to their property insurance company, according to a press release from the chief financial officer and office of the fire marshal. the Jimmy Patronis State.

These insurance claims date back to 2019, according to the press release.

“Our President Brian was recently detained, and while we take these charges and accusations seriously, we believe we are following the law,” Webb Roofing & Construction spokeswoman Kelly LaMagna wrote in a statement.

Jourdan appeared before Judge Bruce E. Kyle on March 21 and pleaded not guilty. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 4.

Webb tied the knot on March 16, according to Collier County Sheriff’s records.

His arraignment was scheduled for April 11, but he pleaded not guilty and waived his court appearance. He has no other court activities planned.
